Man down: THA REAL ABOUT REVENGE
It'z real, real easy to want to payback someone for hurting you.
It almost seems the right thing to do.
The deal with seeking revenge is there is no real satistifaction in it beyond the initial feeling.
Rhianna has dropped a joint called, "man down".......she tells the story of getting revenge against a male that harmed her. Rhianna also tells us in this song that her act of revenge has done a few things to hurt her.
It has messed up her mind
(She has no peace of mind)
She has to leave her home and family
(Cause the law is gonna track her down)
She has no freedom in her heart,
(she didn't just end his life, when she killed him, she ended her own.)
The deal with unforgiveness, is it's truly like pulling the trigger on yourself.
The only person who wins in revenge, is not the person who sought revenge or the person who revenge was against, the only person that wins in revenge is the devil.
